Spiritual Gifts: Balancing Spirituality with Christianity

Were you raised to think that intuition, lightwork, psychic senses, and mediumship were “bad” in the eyes of the church? You might want to tell them to read their Bible, because scripture says quite the opposite! These are spiritual gifts.

The Bible speaks of our special spiritual gifts that are given to us by God. It even proclaims that we can work miracles with these gifts.

Think about that: Miracles are not just reserved for Jesus Christ. For those who have this spiritual gift, humans can work miracles, too.

God so graciously granted us the ability to manifest His love in the world; He created a vibrational universe in which we can influence to perform miracles—signs and reminders of God’s love.

“Now, dear brothers and sisters, regarding your question about the special abilities the Spirit gives us… There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit… It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts.”

1 Corinthians 12:1, 4, 7-11

It goes on to say that just like the human body is made up of different parts of equal value, so is the body of Christ – the world’s population:

“God has put the body together such that extra honor and care are given to those parts that have less dignity. This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other.”

1 Corinthians 12:24-25

If the Bible says that each of us bears a special spiritual gift to support His Word, why do we still allow the media, the political agendas, and people with “less dignity,” as Paul put it, to keep us engaged with the illusion of division and separation? We know we’re equally precious in the eyes of God. Why do we perpetuate humanity’s fallacy?

These gifts are to be cherished and celebrated. They aid us in fulfilling our individual purpose here on earth. One day, we’ll get to a place where Christians can realize what the Bible says about going beyond the surface level; breaking through ego (material matters); and recognizing these gifts of 5D lightwork as being of Christ, as the Bible says they are.

As your spiritual awakening continues, let’s not forget scripture. Many of our questions were already answered thousands of years ago in the Bible. Maybe it’s time to take another look and renew our perspective.
