Feeling Your Twin Flame After Death: the Most Important Lesson

The world shifts on its axis when your twin flame crosses over. Before, you were navigating the intricate dance of your connection, perhaps with the complexities of earthly lives. Now, there’s a silence, a void, yet paradoxically, a resounding knowing – an undeniable feeling that they are still here, with you. Not a wish, not a hope, but a deep, unshakable certainty.

I understand this knowing and can provide insight that will hopefully help you to make sense of it. Let me offer some insights, drawn from my own experience and the shared wisdom of others who have walked this path, but always grounding it in the certainty you feel.

Knowing Your Twin Flame’s Presence Beyond the Veil

My name is Lisa Arrington. In 2021, I felt the raw, searing pain of losing my twin flame, and I’ve grappled with the same questions that are likely swirling in your mind right now. Through it all, one thing remained constant: the unwavering sense of their presence.

Identifying this feeling, getting to intimately know what is them coming through to you — without their physical body prompting you or having any material stimuli to guide you — is the most valuable, most important part of the journey I can share with you.

As you grieve and go through this new chapter in your life without your twin flame, who has ’til this point been your energetic tether in this world, you will be faced with many challenges. One of the biggest is learning to hone your intuition. To trust your inner knowing. And to disseminate between what you’re actually feeling versus what may be grief or your mind getting the best of you.

All spiritual awakenings are plagued by the trait of feeling like you must be going crazy. Let me tell you: you are NOT. You are simply opening to a new realm — a new dimension, if you will — of this wildly complex and beautiful world we are in. You are feeling your loved one on a new level, one without the boundaries and guard rails of physicality. It can be quite overwhelming.

As I’ve described before in my book about the experience and in other blog articles on this site, I felt the exact moment of my twin flame’s passing just as clearly and intensely as I recognized the moment our journey together was activated many years ago.

My loved one, Gregory, was miles away from me at the time of his passing. We had been text messaging that morning, but otherwise, I had no assurance of where he was or what he was doing. Everything that came through, did so energetically via my other senses.

It’s that feeling where you just know someone; you know when someone is thinking of you, or you think of them just as they’re about to call you. It’s that feeling times 1,000. That is the connection we are learning to harness and hone in on.

I didn’t know what I was feeling was his death until later that day, when his mother sent me a simple three word text that I pray no one else ever has to receive: “He is dead.”

“He is dead”

Making sense of those eight letters completely turned my world upside-down in a millisecond. The reality came crashing down on me. I rushed outside on that mild January day and had to excuse myself into nature’s embrace. Feeling the sunshine on my skin. Processing that I would never see my most favorite being ever again in this life (or so I thought [Spoiler alert]).

As I calmed down and my world slowly came piece by piece back together, and in the days and weeks to follow, one thing was consistent: the odd energetic presence I felt.

Though Greg died, I felt him fully in my being. I knew with 100% certainty that he was with me. As they say, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed.” He wasn’t gone. And realizing this, it blew my mind to understand that our work together was far from done.

I will pause the story there, as I’ve shared it in detail in the book, Rebirth: The Spiritual Evolution that Reunited Two Souls.

The Unmistakable Signature of Their Energy

Forget the “normal.” When it comes to twin flames, especially after a passing, the only constant is the undeniable feeling that you know. You know it’s them. You feel their energy, their essence, their love.

  • Beyond Logic: This knowing transcends logic and reason. It’s a soul-deep recognition.
  • Unique Vibrations: You recognize their energy, their unique vibrational signature. It’s as familiar as your own.
  • Unwavering Certainty: Despite any doubts that may creep in, the core of your being knows they are present.
  • Synchronicities as Confirmation: The synchronicities you experience aren’t just coincidences; they are validations of what you already know in your heart.
  • Intuition as a Direct Line: Your intuition becomes a direct line of communication, allowing you to perceive their presence with clarity.

I also admin a group on social media that welcomes people who have lost someone they feel a deep connection to. In that group, people join and post their experience, attempting to process this life-altering news and fit it into their conscious perception.

Many questions are asked, but there is one underlying current that I’ve noticed is critical for this journey. And that is, to take the time to pause — yes, in the midst of grief — pause for a moment. You are feeling something beyond the physical, material world. You know the love in your heart. Trust it.

It is in that moment when our world is upside-down that we have the unique opportunity to gain clarity — something that is absolutely invaluable, especially in this journey.

That clarity is the energetic bond you have with your late twin flame. If you’re still, calm, and quiet all the outside noise of the world and focus on that feeling, you’ll notice it is the same sense of love you felt when the person you lost was standing right in front of you; when they were holding you in their arms; when they were thinking about you, and you them.

THAT! That is what we are to hold onto.

As one fellow traveler stated, “You KNOW it’s them. Keep that feeling as your baseline, because it will be important for the journey (trust me, it’s not over!).” Trust that inner knowing above all else.

The best advice…

From experience, the best advice I can give you is to make it a point to purposely get to intimately know that feeling. It will be important that you’re able to immediately confirm what’s what, moving forward, as you’re already likely being bombarded with mental, emotional, and spiritual sensations from all angles in this process.

Life has a way of disconnecting us from our inner selves. It’s a byproduct of the very material, 3D world we live in. And that is OK, but we need to safeguard ourselves and stay focused on what drives our true purpose.

As you go about life, that person will never leave your heart. As the surviving point of connection within your twin flame dynamic, you now carry a greater responsibility. You are here, co-creating and living, actionizing your life, which therein builds and develops your soul, along with those you are closely connected to.

You may feel close to your twin flame now, if they’ve just recently passed. But consider preparing yourself for the long run. Death is an opportunity of reflection. From that reflection, comes realizations and actionable information to course-correct and make better decisions for the future. Use that!

It has now been 4 years since Gregory died. Taking inventory of my life, I’ve accepted that when I am overly consumed by the day-to-day rat race of life — the daily ebb and flow required to thrive in this world — I lose part of myself. Overtime, I no longer recognize the person in the mirror. This was a cherished lesson my twin flame came crashing back into my world to remind me of, before he departed (and I am forever grateful).

For me, I know what it takes to keep my mind, body, and soul in alignment. Knowing his energy aided me in my grieving, my coping, and the chapters in my life thereafter.

It allowed me to identify what was “in my head” and when my emotions may be getting the best of me, versus what was actually coming through and things I should pay attention to; those intuitive, inner knowing feelings.

The pain is real, but it’s also a testament to the depth of your connection. Within this pain lies an opportunity for profound healing and spiritual awakening. This journey is a testament to the eternal nature of your bond. Trust the knowing that resides within you. It is the truth of your connection, a beacon guiding you through this profound transformation.
