5-minute Universal Love Challenge for Twin Flames

This daily practice is a great way to keep your Twin Flame close to your heart. It embodies the purpose of Twin Flames and helps actualize the idea of unconditional love or universal love.

Doing this exercise will help alleviate feelings of stress (or grief, if you have lost your Twin Flame), while also adding high vibrational, loving energy into the world. It builds your sense of reverence and graciousness for knowing such a powerful connection and helps to bring positive benefits from your experience with them into your daily life.

Daily affirmation & meditation practice

Try doing this once a day for 5-7 days. All it takes is 5 minutes and a quiet space. As a bonus, journal your thoughts before, during, and after you complete this exercise. Review your journal and see if you notice any patterns, changes in perspective, growth, or realizations that may have come about.

  1. Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for 5-10 minutes. No clutter. No distractions. Turn your phone on silent, lay or sit down, and get comfortable.
  2. Close your eyes and begin focusing on your breath. Breathe in fully, where your belly rises (not the short, shallow breathing we so often do). Breathe out fully and repeat.

  • OPTIONAL:
    • Ground yourself: Imagine Earth’s energy stemming up from its core and into your being. This will ground any of your experiences in this session.
    • White light protection: Ask your guide for “white light protection.” If you’re nervous about residual negative energy impeding or harming you, simply ask your guide to provide a white light of protection around you.
    • Higher vibrations: With each breath, visualize the purest light filling up your body. Starting with your feet, it makes its way to the Root Chakra. Then, the Sacral Chakra. And so on, until it exits your Crown Chakra at the top of your head. This can help heighten your vibration for a more impactful experience.
  1. When ready, bring your Twin Flame to mind.

    The key is to see them at the soul level. See them for who they really are: A soul who wants to love and be loved in return. Shed the negative illusions that your ego may be tempted to apply to them.

    By connecting to them (bringing them to mind), we are amplifying the unconditional love we radiate through this exercise.

  2. Handling negative or bothersome thoughts:
    • If negative thoughts come up, acknowledge them and then release them. If the same thought continues to come to mind, transmute this energy. Do this by envisioning Violet Flame.
    • Visualize a vibrant, beautiful Violet Flame. This flame does not emit heat. It will not burn you.
    • Imagine it overcoming all of the negative experiences, ego-driven thoughts, and the pain for both you and your Twin Flame.
    • As it envelopes this dark, ickiness, the Violet Flame is not destroying it – rather, it is transforming it into pure, divine love. A beautifully bright white light that radiates love to you and everyone you encounter thereafter.

      Remember, things are brought up so that they can be healed. If there is a reoccurring thought, it is signaling a block or area in your life that requires healing.

  3. Think of something that triggers that warm, fuzzy feeling of unconditional love.

    It could be something small like the way they twirl their hair or scrunch their nose. Or it could be something more meaningful like the memory of your first kiss. Nothing is too big or too small – so long as it puts you in that feeling of love.

  4. Once you have that feeling, focus on it. Notice how it feels, the emotion it brings, the pleasant state of mind that you’re in.

    In this moment, there are no negative thoughts. The world outside seems to pause. We are fully “in the now.”

    Allow this sensation of unconditional love to emanate through your being. Feel it radiating from your heart space (the Heart Chakra), throughout your body, and even in the space around you. hold it there. Allow yourself to fully experience it.

  5. While still holding that feeling of unconditional love, visualize you and your Twin Flame sitting across from one another – holding hands, if you’d like. Look in their eyes and affirm, “You are worthy and deserving of love. I unconditionally love you, fully and wholeheartedly.” Now visualize it as they repeat the same statement to you.

    Stay in this moment for as long as you’d like.

  6. To end the session, express gratitude to yourself, to your Twin Flame, your guides, the universe and God, if you choose. Thank them for their assistance today and for all that they do. Go ahead and give them a hug, if you want! Whatever feels most genuine to you.

  7. Begin slowly pulling your energy back. Gradually begin feeling yourself back in your body, remembering to ground everything in by rooting it into the earth. When ready, open your eyes.

Applying this to your day-to-day

Make a mental note and “dog ear” the unconditional love you just experienced. Keep it with you throughout the day, with the goal of living each moment from a place of unconditional love.

Love is an energy, so embodying this love keeps your mission alive. This energy is what we’re here in this life to personify and “raise the vibration.”
