In thinking about past lives, it occurred to me that the number of future lifetimes (incarnations) you have remaining after this one is fluid.
At first, I didn’t fully understand reincarnation and past lives. Something in my soul couldn’t buy the idea of reincarnation as, “you start as a grain of sand, then blade of grass, and work your way up to human.” After the death of my Twin Flame, past lives were finally revealed to me.
Twins Flames are an interesting concept. If the goal is to be in union with our Twin, then guess what? Joke’s on you: We are all already in union with our Twin. This is because we exist in an “artificial” design where time is a constant, but outside of this world, time does not exist. By the way, our Twin’s job is not to be in perfect physical union with us. It is a much more important purpose: To awaken us and push us to grow and fulfill our life’s purpose, typically something involving Universal Love.
Remembering my past lives and being awakened to potential future incarnations made me feel tired, having realized the reason behind this strange feeling I’ve always carried with me — the karmic baggage and other things. I wanted to be done. I had never felt a longing to go “home” before (not since a confused preteen, at least), but suddenly I found myself feeling this way. I was in no way suicidal, but I yearned at my core to return to my Guides, my late Twin, and exist in a world of pure Love.
I had set my heart’s intention that I would fulfill this lifetime’s purpose and go home. I was so sure that I was in my last incarnation. Spirit even confirmed this. Then a few months later, I received a sudden vision in which I saw a physical representation of linear time and the timelines before/after this one. It changed. I now have 3-4 lifetimes remaining before entering “the big door.”
Incarnating again doesn’t mean you’ve failed. In fact, many of us come back in order to fulfill a deeper purpose. We are all simply trying to be the best we can be so that when the “2nd coming” comes to pass, we can enter the Kingdom we were promised.
So why is this number fluid? How is that possible?
For those who have posted how many past lives you’ve had or how many incarnations you have left, I want to be clear: Manifesting things in present day actively changes your future number of remaining incarnations.
There are multiple potential timelines existing concurrently with the one you’re currently in. It does not mean we are each conscious in all of them. Our souls gravitate to one timeline and that becomes our reality. The other timelines are constantly intermingling, dissolving, and being created. Collectively, it’s like one big ebb and flow — an incomprehensible orchestra of ALL of our “manifestations” interacting and weaving together.
When you set your heart’s intention, you have the potential to change the details of your life. I personally believe that we all have one set purpose for our soul to fulfill here — that never changes. But if and how we accomplish it does.
Because everything has already happened but also hasn’t happened yet, and because of the extreme number of variables that create our world, that is why it is important to intentionally live to the best of your abilities.
You can’t wimp out and say, “Well, it already happened, so it’s written in stone.” No. You now are HOW it’s already happened. You have to make it happen.
When you do, it impacts and solidifies things across your lifetimes (again, because time is a human construct). This is how it’s possible to heal ancestral wounds through methods like Reiki Energy. This is also how the answer of how many lifetimes you have left can change.
Think about it. If we are living now in this lifetime, what happens when we die? After death, we exit the space/time continuum. Time does not exist there. So, from that perspective of being in 5D, we have existed before and after this current lifetime. Things are dynamically shifting and changing as we live in this incarnation, affecting our past, present, and future across the fabric of our existence.

The time/space continuum is how our guides are able to communicate with us, and why we are able to engage with our Higher Selves. Guides are souls just like us. Though some may truly be Angels, most are just regular spirits like you and me who we have had bonds and connections with in past lives. We all take turns helping one another.
Your guide will always be positive. They do not have the baggage of the 3D world weighing over them. If you receive a negatively-charged message, it is likely your own ego interfering with the clarity of the message.
Ask them or refer to the Akashic Records to learn how many lifetimes you’ve had, and how many incarnations you may have to go. For kicks, ask this question again in 6-12 months and see how the answer changes.
